The Leckey Shower Support is intended for children age one to 18 years who have problems controlling their upper body movements or suffer from excessive muscle tension resulting from disorders such as cerebral palsy. It can also be used for children who cannot keep themselves upright while bathing.
Many Adjustment Options
With its many options for individual adaptation, the Leckey Shower Support offers children optimal support in the bathtub. For example, the height of the support's front and rear legs can be adjusted independently. Therefore the support can be adapted for several inclined positions. In addition, the back rest can be tilted in four positions from upright to a relaxed position at 90°.
Another advantage is that the height of the entire support can be adjusted. The child can relax on the support when it is lowered flat into the tub or the support can be raised to the level of the bathtub edge in order to make washing and care easier for parents and caregivers.
Optional Mobile Chassis
The chest strap, which can be supplemented with two optional foam wedges, provides the required level of safety. Combined with the many accessories such as an abduction strap or head support, the shower support can be used for a variety of clinical needs. In addition, a mobile chassis which can also be used in the shower is available.
